About
Anna Dunlop (she/they) is a choreographer and movement director working between Canada and the UK.
They work collaboratively on experimental and site-specific projects in film and live performance. Their work is highly physical, and uses exhaustion and landscape to create body/movement centric work with vulnerability, rage, and empathy at it's core.
Trained at London Contemporary Dance School (UK), ArtEZ (NL), and Codarts (NL), their work has been performed in the UK, Canada, Austria, Japan, and the US. Their first full length work, Endlings, premiered at the Golden Goose Theatre (UK) in 2025, and they are currently commissioned by the Canada Council for the Arts in the creation of a multimedia dance film, Mud and the Sinfulness of Others, in 2026.
Notable residencies include MOtiVE Brooklyn in New York, Space Clarence Mews in London, and ImPulsTanz in Vienna.
